So, the hubs and myself went to Amersfoort and Utrecht Friday for a stay at a hotel, a bit luxurious with a double Jacuzzi and all hehe. Every so often we book a hotel somewhere near a larger city here in the Netherlands, so we get to enjoy some alone time. This is always associated with some shopping, in this case in Utrecht. We never went to Utrecht together. I’ve been there several times and really like the city. There are lots of diverse shops and the city feels just really cozy, you know? Lovely buildings all around, the canals and boats you see sailingRead More →

After out visit to Amersfoort and Utrecht, we stopped at the Primark in Eindhoven. I was dying to get my hands on some of the Disney and Harry Potter collection, so we decided to stop there on our way back home. Eindhoven was right in the middel of our journey home, so it was perfect for us to stop here in between driving. Unfortunately I didn’t find the CHIP mug I’ve desperately wanted for ages now, but I did end up with several other stuff I’m really happy with. Curious to see what I bought there? Read on! Instead of reviewing all three books of this trilogy one by one, I decided to write 3 mini reviews instead so I could tell you about all of them at once, because this Wild Aces trilogy by Chanel Cleeton is a trilogy I want to tell you guys about asap. I bought the books months ago because I was in need of more military romance, but they ended up unread on my shelves until very recently. Out of the blue I decided to start with ‘Fly with Me’, the first book in the trilogy, and I was HOOKED. I’ve read all three books back toRead More →

When I was visiting one of my favorite book blogs, Geybie’s book blog, I came across her RECOMMEND ME article – which I love, but my bank account not so much haha – and it was about Romantic Comedy books. Just like Geybie, I love reading a romantic book which has the ability to make me laugh out loud. I love books with angst throughout the story, but humor is something I need as well. So when I came across Geybie’s article, I knew I hit the ‘jackpot’, lol. I came across so many books(series) I didn’t read yet, so I got to add a lotRead More →

I came across this tag at Annemieke’s blog; A dance with books and I loved it so I decided to do this tag as well. I’m working on a dog tag article of my own for quite a while now, with book related questions and answers, but this particular dog tag is really only about dogs and since I love love loveeee dogs, I just couldn’t pass up on the opportunity to talk about them some more in this tag time tuesday today. It’s been a couple of weeks since I published a Monday Memories, but today I got one for you at last. Let me tell you more about what I was up to recently, what was going on – or better said; not going on, at the blog, what I’ve been reading, what books I received and which blog articles of fellow bloggers I loved… My hubby surprised me with a new kindle e-reader and the Silhouette Cameo 3!!! It’s been a while since I last published a MONTHLY MONDAY BOOK SHELFIE. Since my buddy Kwante in Wonderland is back to blogging again I, of course, go along with publishing new monthly monday’s again, yay! At the time before I published the first article, Kwante asked me if I wanted to join her with this new ‘project’. After hearing what she intended to do with this article I immediately said yes because it sounded really awesome! What exactly is the intention of this monthly Monday book shelfie? Kwante will give you each month up front a new subject you tell something about your chosen book;Read More →

When you loose yourself in a new book series, do you want to read the whole series at once? Or do you prefer taking your time with a series and read other books in between? I got a clear preference when it comes to binge-reading of book series and that’s what I’m going to talk about today in this Struggle Sunday article.Read More →

While reading Rebel, I came across a line said by the male lead character early on in the book and then it happened; BOOM! that specific song I love so much from the Script: ‘Never seen anything quite like you’ popped into my head. Well, popped.. It was like being struck by lightning – not that I know how that feels like but ok. But it just was a HUGE moment, that’s what I’m trying to say here, lol. It was the first of many moments where I realized I should really need to compose a playlist for this book, so here’s my Story SoundRead More →
