| MONTHLY FAVORITES | Your October Favorites

I came across articles like this on several blogs lately and I found them so much fun to read. I really wanted to do this for myself as well so here we go. In the first week of every new month, I’ll check out my statistics and show you guys which articles you read most and which Instagram photos were liked best. I love checking my stats to see what you guys like to read best on the blog and I try to respond to this as well with writing relatable articles and such. I definitely don’t blog for the stats but I just like seeing them for myself, to see what you guys are up to. And from now on I’ll share my best read articles and best like Instagram pictures with you so you can also see what my readers favorites are. Here we go!

♥ UNBOXING | Fairyloot October 2017 ♥

My first ever Fairyloot has arrived last weekend and damn, I’m really excited to share the contents of this box with you, because it’s an amaaaazing box! October’s theme was VILLAINOUS and the sneak peaks Fairyloot gave us during September got me so so soo excited to receive this box. So when I came back from my trip to Utrecht – I went there to meet Jennifer L. Armentrout!! – there were several packages waiting for me, among others this Fairyloot box. Want to see which items and bookS – yes I said bookS, because this box contains 2 books! – were hidden inside this box?

♥ mini REVIEW | Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas ♥

Even though this book deserves wayyyy more than a mini review.. I just can’t, I’m sorry. This 5 star book – and 5 stars really isn’t enough – deserves all the praise and I just can’t get my thoughts and feelings in proper order to write them down in full sentences with which I can explain what this book did to me just now. I just finished the book, like 20 minutes ago and I just know I’ll never be at that point where I’ll be able to write exactly how I feel about Sarah and her books – one of the reasons I didn’t write a review on one of the TOG books so far – and this series in particular, because Throne of Glass is my baby and remains my favorite of the two epic series Sarah wrote so far. But I’ll just let you in on my rambling, chaotic fangirl emotions and let you read what I Was able to put down in words..

♥ MONTHLY RELEASES | Book releases November 2017 ♥

I’m a bit late this time around with the Monthly Releases article but it was worth the wait I think because there are some gems coming our way in November that you need to add to your wishlist!! It’s going to be hard to choose which one I have to buy in the nearby future haha The new Michelle Hodkin book; definitely!

Curious to know which new YA releases and contemporary romance releases are coming our way? I made a selection of books I’d love to read myself. There’s so much out there releasing each month, that it’s not possible for me to show them all haha. So these are my own favorites…

♥ TAG TIME TUESDAY | You’re not Good enough

I’m really excited about sharing this tag with you guys today. I’m happy Kwante from Kwante in Wonderland passed this tag on to me. It’s been a while when I did a tag in which I got to draw names that would help me answer my questions. I’ve done the RIP-IT or SHIP IT tag last year and that has been one of the coolest tags I’ve got to do so far. So seeing this You’re not good enough tag, in which the basics are the same, made me really excited to do as well!

This tag was originally created by ReadLikeWildfire and Beccathebookreviewer.

What do you need to do?

Basically, what you have to do, is write down 30 character names on pieces of paper, put them in a bowl/cup/jar/black hole, and then choose two at random for every question. Your job after you’ve picked your two champions is to decide which one of them fits the question/situation, and which one isn’t “good enough”.

♥ SHOP LOG | Disneyland Paris ♥

As some of you might know – I’ve mentioned it here and there.. – I spent a couple of days in Disneyland Paris in September with my husband and son – God, it feels like ages ago already. We’ve had an amazing time there and are already looking forward to go back there next year or so. It was Milan’s first time there and it was so satisfactory to see him having such a good time. For Luciën and me, it was our third visit there and we can’t get enough of it as well. We’ve visited both parks of course – the Disneyland park and the Movie studios – and of course, money had to be spent on stuff haha.

Most of the things we bought there was stuff for Milan but I spent a little bit on myself as well. After our stay at the Disney parks we also went to a PRIMARK nearby and I did some shopping there as well. So I decided it would be nice to show you guys what I bought while I was in France.

So I was planning on finishing Amour Amour and start reading an e-arc, but when I was putting away some books on my shelves, and Roseblood popped in sight. And before I knew it, I was flipping through the pages and then I read the first page and I was like: OMG I NEED TO READ THIS BOOK NOW! So there goes my TBR plan.. out the window hahaha. Roseblood it is! Have you read this Phantom-of-the-Opera retelling yet and what did you think of it? I'm so excited to read it! And I love the cover and the beautiful lay-out within, like the red font throughout the entire book; so awesome!!! #currentlyreading #newbook #startinganewread #anticipatedread #roseblood #aghoward #beautifulcover #bookstagram #bookphotography #driedredrose #bookandmask #tarnishedcolors #lovebooks #lovereading #youngadult #retelling #phantomoftheopera

I adore books involving Bikers and after falling in love with the YA biker books Katie McGarry wrote, I desperately wanted to read more YA books with bikers in them. Devils & Thieves has been on my radar for months now and is one of my most highly anticipated reads for this fall, so I obviously put in a pre-order as soon as possible. This book not only involves bikers but is an urban fantasy read as well and I really can't wait to find out how all these elements combine together. And the hardcover is simply stunning <3 Safe to say: I'M SO INCREDIBLY EXCITED TO START THIS BOOK by @jenn_rush What was your latest haul and what's one of your highly anticipated books for this fall? Love to hear from you xx Melissa #anticipatedread #newbook #newin #devilsandthieves #jenniferrush #urbanfantasy #youngadult #beautifulcover #hardback #hardcover #bookstagram #bookphotography #lovebooks #lovereading #bookaholic #instabooks #booklove #yabooks #books #bookworm

It was really fun looking into the October stats and see which articles you guys liked best and which Instagram pictures got the most likes.

If you’re a blogger as well; which articles are the most read/liked on your site? love to hear from you!
If you’re a reader; which articles do you like reading most?
