On wednesday I always posted my Weekly WISHLIST article in which I’d share books, or maybe other bookish stuff, from my own wishlists on Bookdepository’s website or Bol.com and such. The wishlist wednesday post is definitely something I want to keep continuing doing now I’ve switched from Dutch to English blogging and starting all over again after some time off..

I love prowling on the internet and add new books to my wishlists. I love to share this with fellow book lovers, so that’s were the idea for Wishlist Wednesday came from. This will be the 32nd edition of Wishlist Wednesday, and still my wishlists are full with books I have yet to show to you guys haha. And every week the wishlists keep growing and growing.. Does anyone recognize this haha? I’m a bookaholic, lol.
Let’s start, shall we? 😉

Fall of the Dragon Prince (Forgotten Heirs Trilogy, #1)When coming across a book on Goodreads, I try to keep an open mind and not hang on too much on the ratings and reviews already posted/given. A lot of times my own opinion on a book is in contradiction with a lot of reviews on Goodreads. So even if a book doesn’t have a high rating I often end up buying it anyway if I like the synopsis enough. This one has a rating of 3.83 with 29 ratings so it’s still a newbie haha.. Cute. It’s a fantasy novel with Dragons and I got a soft spot for Dragons..

Toran joined the five realms and tied their destinies to the survival of his secret heirs. But the king is now dead and his enemies gather.

Reann, a serving girl and self-appointed librarian of Toran’s estate, has a chance to unravel the greatest mystery in the realm.

On the other side of the kingdom, Terith and the other dragon riders fight to stop the invasion that would mean the fall of the empire. In this cross-country dragon race, Terith faces a black-hearted traitor with even darker purposes, to win the kingdom and the heart of the woman he loves. One rider will fall; one fate will rise

It Started With GoodbyeA Young adult Contemporary with a Synopsis that sounds really good. From time to time, I love to read YA contemporary. They give me such a lovely sweet and cute-feel while reading and bring back memories from my own teen years. They’re almost always recognizable for me on some level, which makes bonding with the story and characters real easy. I love the fluffy romance in them and I’m a sucker for romance so a YA contemporary is always good for picking up for a read, don’t you think? Do you like YA contemporary?

Sixteen-year-old Tatum Elsea is bracing for the worst summer of her life. After being falsely accused of a crime, she’s stuck under stepmother-imposed house arrest and her BFF’s gone ghost. Tatum fills her newfound free time with community service by day and working at her covert graphic design business at night (which includes trading emails with a cute cello-playing client).

When Tatum discovers she’s not the only one in the house keeping secrets, she finds she has the chance to make amends with her family and friends. Equipped with a new perspective, and assisted by her feisty step-abuela-slash-fairy-godmother, Tatum is ready to start fresh and maybe even get her happy ending along the way.

HEIR OF ILLARIA by Dyan Chick (#1 Illaria)
Heir of Illaria (Illaria #1)I saw the cover of this book on pinterest and that was what made me look furhter into it. I read the synopsis and in combination with that appealing cover, was what made me add it to the wishlist. A necromancer King who performs dark magic and a lead character who gets in his path.. I like synopsis like these hehe..

In Illaria, there is a fate worse than death.

As long as I can remember, I’ve been taught to fear the Necromancer King. He controls the kingdom of Illaria with dark sorcery and the constant threat of his undead army. I never thought I’d have reason to cross his path. Everything changed the day his guards tried to kill me. That’s when I found out my whole life has been a lie. By joining a resistance group called the White Ravens, I’ve claimed new roles. Princess of Illaria, sorceress in training, and threat to the Necromancer King.

THE SILVER SWAN by Amo Jones (#1 The Elite King’s Club)
The Silver Swan (Elite Kings Club, #1)I can’t remember how or when I came across this book but when I read that synopsis, and the side-note the author wrote, I was SOLD haha. O and did you see that amazing cover? Prr.. makes me purr, so beautiful! First things first.. So the author wrote a side-note, saying: I need to admit something right now. The Silver Swan is f*cked. It might be the most insane story I’ve ever written with equally insane characters. Who knew? You know, when I started this book, it was supposed to be YA. I wanted to write a book that my sisters could read. A book that won’t have people look at my mum like “damn… what sort of messed up shit happened to your kid?”. The angst, the assholeness, the games, the f**kery, the WHAT THE F**KING F**K ARE YOU DOING???!!!…
I cannot even…. anyway, this is a warning (and the only one I’ll give you). It’s crazy. I don’t compare my work to my others, but this book is f**ked. It will most likely stomp all the f**k over people’s hard limits (and not give a sh*t while it’s doing it) and will make you second guess all the morals you thought you had.
This most definitely is not looking like a love story right now… more like a….. I don’t even….*shakes head* anyway, I apologise now. You asked for it……….

Riddle me this…
“I am neither dead, nor alive, and I’m not something little Madison can hide.
But you will be dead, by the time this is done…
the timer starts now, and the games have just begun…”

Madison Montgomery comes from money and power, but when someone close to her commits the ultimate crime, Madison must live with her tainted name for the rest of her life. What she wasn’t hoping for was the pack of bad boys who run the school; ten, to be exact. When Madison gains the attention of their leader, Bishop Vincent Hayes, a whole new world that she didn’t think existed is exposed to her. A whole world that starts and ends with The Elite Kings Club and these boys, are about to flip her world upside down. Secrets are overflowing and family lies are about to be exposed. Is there more to Madison Montgomery than even she knows?

LUCIUS, the Fallen by Tara S Wood
Lucius; The FallenA paranormal Romance about the Angels who fell from Heaven, with Lucius as their leader. I LOVE LOVE LOVE paranormal romance and especially ones with Angels/Demons, so when I came across this one I knew it was meant to be.. This book has to be bought and read and loved – I hope hehe..

Six angels once sat at the right hand of The Almighty, but an ill-fated decision cast them out of Heaven. Now they serve Him on Earth, slaying demons for their redemption. They are…The Fallen.

“Relish this moment in My favor. It is your last.”

Lucius, once revered at the side of God, fell to Earth with his brothers to pay penance and atone for his lapse in leadership. Wingless and forsaken, they have all paid a price for their complicity. Lucius’ hubris is now a curse, and he cannot rest until they carry out the last of The Almighty’s orders…and stop a war that has been millennia in the making.

Persephone Roberts is always in the right place at the right time, the serendipity allowing her to help people on her travels. When it leads her to cross paths with the band of hard-living fallen angels, she sets her sights on their leader, and is determined to restore Lucius’ faith in their quest. And in himself.

But the ancient evil the angels strive to fight has put Persephone in its crosshairs. It will be up to Lucius and his brothers to save her and destroy the minions of the dark. Can the amber-eyed beauty with her accepting heart heal wounds that cut soul deep, and force him to reclaim a glory he once tossed aside? Is he strong enough to realize the path back to Heaven begins with her, or will he be forever…fallen?

So, yay, 5 more books for my wishlist haha. The never ending wishlist, to be exact. Especially ‘the Silver Swan’ and ‘Lucian, the Fallen’ made an impression. They made it to my ASAP TO BUY-LIST haha so I hope I can buy ’em soon!
